I looked at her bewildered
not knowing where to begin
there’s not enough time
liquor
narcotics
men
in this world
to answer that question
a dark, shadowy figure stepped out
onto the balcony
she made a quick exit
I shed my terrycloth and you
dared me to jump in head first
and said
you know you want to
no one’s watching

but you were
